Weight Method and Tu Peso Ideal (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operate a recurring SMS messaging program to support patients enrolled in our telehealth weight loss programs.

How to Opt In

Users opt in by completing our online intake form at weightmethod.com or tupesoideal.com. During the intake process, users are presented with the following consent notice:

“By providing your phone number and continuing, you agree that Weight Method may send text messages about your account and application — including order confirmations, shipment notifications, messages from your provider, and appointment or application reminders — as well as occasional offers and program updates. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies (up to 12/mo). Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.”

Providing a phone number and submitting the form constitutes express written consent to receive SMS messages.

Types of Messages You May Receive

  • Appointment reminders and telehealth check-in notifications
  • Medication refill alerts and treatment updates
  • Wellness check-ins and program updates
  • Promotional messages and program updates — occasional offers and news about your program (marketing messages; opt out any time with STOP)
  • Responses to your requests for support

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your treatment plan and activity. You may receive up to 12 messages per month. Marketing messages may arrive from a different Weight Method number than care and order messages; replying STOP opts you out of messages from the number that sent the message.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
