Terms of Service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Welcome to Weight Method. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility & Jurisdictions Served
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United States
- Reside in a state where our telehealth services are available
- Provide accurate and complete information during the intake process
Weight Method's prescribing provider is licensed in Florida only. Telehealth services and prescription medications are available exclusively to patients residing in Florida. Prescriptions are issued in compliance with the Florida Telehealth Practice Act (Fla. Stat. § 456.47). Patients residing outside Florida may complete the intake quiz so that their information is preserved for future expansion, but no prescription will be issued and no medication will be dispensed to any patient residing outside the jurisdictions where Weight Method's providers are licensed. The current list of served jurisdictions is published at /states.
2. Services Description
Weight Method provides an online platform that connects patients with licensed healthcare providers for the evaluation, prescription, and delivery of GLP-1 weight loss medications (semaglutide and tirzepatide). Our services include a medical intake questionnaire, asynchronous medical review, prescription fulfillment through U.S.-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, and medication delivery.
Starting Dose for Patients Transferring from Another Provider. If you report current or recent use of a GLP-1 medication obtained from another prescriber, pharmacy, or source, your provider will not automatically match the dose you report. We cannot verify the strength, concentration, purity, or compounding of a product we did not dispense, so an outside dose is not treated as equivalent to ours. As a general clinical policy, transferring patients begin one step below the dose they report on our dosing ladder (semaglutide: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5 mg weekly; tirzepatide: 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15 mg weekly). If you have been off GLP-1 medication for more than three months, you begin two steps below your reported dose, because tolerance to the medication's gastrointestinal effects fades during a lapse in therapy. Your starting dose will never be set below the lowest dose on the ladder for your medication.
A reduced starting dose is a starting point, not a ceiling. Your provider will review you for a dose increase after approximately four weeks if the starting dose is well tolerated, and may depart from this policy in either direction based on your individual medical history. Because your plan fees compensate ongoing professional healthcare services rather than a specific dose or quantity of medication (see Section 5), a starting dose lower than the one you reported does not change the plan you purchased and does not entitle you to a refund, credit, or price adjustment.
3. Telehealth Consent
By using our services, you consent to receiving healthcare services via telehealth. You understand that telehealth involves the delivery of health care services using electronic communications and is not a substitute for in-person medical care. You acknowledge that a provider-patient relationship is established only upon a provider accepting your case for review.
4. Medical Disclaimer
Weight Method does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical decisions are made by independent licensed healthcare providers. Individual results may vary. GLP-1 medications require a prescription and are not appropriate for everyone. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new treatment.
5. Subscription & Billing
We offer monthly subscription plans and multi-month prepaid plans:
- Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle until cancelled
- Multi-month plans (3, 6, or 12 months) are one-time payments for the selected duration
- All prices are in US dollars and include medication (as described below), provider review, and shipping
- Promotion codes and discounts are subject to their specific terms and may not be combined
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
Professional Services; Fees Not Contingent on Medication Shipment. The fees payable under any plan constitute consideration for a bundle of ongoing professional healthcare and platform services rendered by or through Weight Method and its affiliated licensed healthcare providers — including, without limitation, medical intake review, asynchronous provider evaluation, clinical oversight and monitoring, dose management, provider messaging and consultation, and care coordination — and not solely for the dispensing or shipment of medication. You acknowledge and agree that such services are rendered on a continuous basis throughout each billing period and that your treatment remains active whether or not medication is dispensed or shipped during any given billing period. Accordingly, the absence of a medication shipment during a billing period — including, without limitation, where shipment is deferred because you retain a sufficient supply of medication, your treatment has been placed on hold by a provider for clinical reasons, you have not completed required check-ins or follow-ups, or you have not provided information requested by your provider — shall not suspend, reduce, or excuse any fees for that period, nor entitle you to any refund or credit, except as expressly provided in Section 6.
Automatic Renewal. If you enroll in a monthly subscription plan, your subscription automatically renews each month, and the payment method on file will be charged the recurring monthly rate disclosed to you at checkout, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time as described in Section 6, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the then-current billing period. By enrolling, you acknowledge that the recurring charge, its amount and frequency, and the means of cancellation were disclosed to you before payment, and you affirmatively consent to recurring billing on these terms.
Included Medication Supply; Additional and Replacement Vials. Where medication is prescribed, your plan includes the medication supply authorized by your provider, dispensed and shipped in accordance with your treatment plan, up to a maximum of one (1) medication vial per month of active enrollment at no additional charge — or, where your prescribed dose requires more than one vial per shipment, the vial combination specified in your treatment plan, which together counts as a single monthly supply. Shipment timing follows your treatment plan and clinical need rather than calendar months, and a single vial may be intended to last more than one month at your prescribed dose. Monthly supply allocations do not accrue, bank, or carry over: a month in which no shipment is clinically required does not entitle you to an additional vial in a later month.
Any medication beyond the included supply — including, without limitation, replacement of vials that are lost, stolen, broken, damaged, improperly stored, or wasted after delivery; early refills; and any additional quantities you request — is not included in your plan fees. Additional vials may be provided only where authorized by your provider and permitted by applicable law, and will be charged separately to your payment method on file at the replacement price disclosed to you at the time of your request; by requesting an additional vial you authorize that charge.
The foregoing does not apply where an additional shipment is required due to an issue on our side. If your medication arrives damaged, defective, or otherwise unusable, is lost in transit, or does not match your prescription (for example, an incorrect product, dose, or quantity), or if your provider directs a change to your medication, we will replace the affected medication at no additional charge, provided that, for shipments that arrive damaged, defective, or non-conforming, you notify us within seven (7) days of the delivery date shown by carrier tracking. A no-charge replacement under this paragraph is your sole and exclusive remedy for the affected shipment.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Please note:
- No refunds are provided for the current billing period after medication has shipped
- Multi-month prepaid plans are non-refundable once medication has been dispensed
- If your prescription is denied by a provider, you will receive a full refund
- Because plan fees compensate ongoing professional healthcare services and not solely medication (see Section 5), no refund or credit is owed solely because medication was not dispensed or shipped during a billing period in which such services remained available to you
- Additional and replacement vials charged under Section 5 are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once dispensed
- Refund requests for other circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
To cancel, contact us at hello@weightmethod.com.
7. Billing Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe any charge was made in error, or you otherwise dispute a charge, you agree to first contact us at hello@weightmethod.com and allow us thirty (30) days to investigate and resolve the matter before initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your card issuer, bank, or payment provider. We promptly correct legitimate billing errors, including by issuing refunds where appropriate.
You agree that initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with respect to fees for services validly rendered under these Terms — including professional healthcare services rendered during a billing period in which no medication was shipped (see Section 5) — constitutes a material breach of these Terms. If such a chargeback is resolved in our favor, we reserve the right, to the extent permitted by law and consistent with applicable standards of clinical care, to suspend your access to the patient portal and to non-urgent services, to withhold pending shipments, and to recover from you the disputed amounts together with associated chargeback, processing, and collection costs.
Dispute Evidence. You acknowledge and agree that, in connection with any payment dispute, chargeback, or claim, we may compile and submit to payment processors, card networks, financial institutions, and dispute-resolution bodies records evidencing your agreement to these Terms and your receipt of services, including, without limitation: your signed consent records (typed legal name, electronic signature, IP address, device and browser information, and timestamps), checkout and order records, billing history, communications with your care team to the minimum extent necessary, and carrier tracking and delivery confirmations. Such disclosures are made for payment purposes as permitted by applicable law, including HIPAA.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Medications are shipped via FedEx from U.S.-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Delivery times vary but typically take 3-7 business days after prescription approval. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or incorrect address information. Carrier confirmation of delivery to the shipping address you provided constitutes conclusive evidence of delivery for all purposes under these Terms, including any billing dispute.
9. User Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate medical and personal information
- Not misrepresent your identity or medical history
- Use medications only as prescribed by your healthcare provider
- Report any adverse reactions to your provider immediately
- Not share, resell, or distribute medications to others
- Keep your account credentials secure
10. Termination & Refusal of Service
We may suspend or terminate your account, and refuse current or future use of our services, upon notice to you, if you materially breach these Terms — including by providing false or misleading medical or identity information during intake, initiating a chargeback in breach of Section 7, sharing or reselling medication, or engaging in fraudulent or abusive conduct. Any suspension or termination will be carried out consistent with applicable standards of clinical care, including coordination of an orderly transition of care where required. Termination does not relieve you of the obligation to pay amounts accrued before its effective date. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees allocable to the period after the effective date of termination.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Weight Method or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weight Method and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weight Method, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
15. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Survival. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 through 15 survive any termination or expiration of these Terms or of your account. Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the consents you sign during the intake process and any plan-specific terms disclosed at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Weight Method regarding our services and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements on that subject. No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, at a later time.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
